Marginal Distributions – Part 5

Now I compare marginal distributions for a system with initial profile

h_i = \begin{cases} 0 & i < 16 \\  64\sin\left(\frac{2\pi}{32}(i-16)\right) & 16 \leq i \leq 48\\ 0  & i > 48.\end{cases}

That is, like in the previous post, but with an even more compressed sine function. The motivation behind this is to provide a buffer between the boundary and the mass in the middle, which we hope will lead to a continuous profile at the boundary.
